What is KIA Reiki™?

KIA Reiki™ is a Frequency of Consciousness that transforms imbalances on all levels: physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. It heals from the deepest part of your Self, your Core Essence. Transformation can occur through a variety of methods: Energy Work, Guidance Led Actions, Conversation, and simple Intention. The healer simply radiates their Core Essence while holding the KIA Reiki™ frequency. This invites all of your energies into a joyful state of Well Being through the process of entrainment.

What exactly does a KIA Reiki™ Healer do?

A KIA Reiki™ Healer follows their Spiritual Guidance/Intuition, in order to bring about the changes you desire, while maintaining a state of acceptance or non-judgment, for the present conditions. They can express the KIA Reiki™ energy in a number of ways: energy field entrainment while talking with you, hands on healing (what most people thing of Reiki as), remote healing, and simply radiating one’s Core Essence. They incorporate the KIA Formula for Transformation™ into any energy healing they do on a professional level. This formula is Knowledge + Intuition + Action = Transformation:

*Give you Knowledge of the realm of energy, and in particular your personal energy field. *Guide you in learning to use your Intuition. *Support you in following through on integrative Actions. *Enjoy the process of Transformation through connecting with your Witness.

What kind of results can I expect?

Everyone receives some type of benefit from KIA Reiki™, although the results are unique to each individual, as well as to each session. Sometimes there is a reduction of or complete transformation of your physical symptoms, and sometimes you simply approach the challenges in your life with more ease and clarity. Some people have found they were able to decrease or completely stop taking medications (with their doctor’s consent). An intention can be set for just about any type of imbalance or condition, and although specific results cannot be guaranteed, the body’s higher consciousness always uses the energy to lead you towards balance and ease.

How does “Remote Healing” work?

When working with the realm of energy, physical distance is not a barrier to healing. A KIA Reiki™ Master can tune in, read, and influence your energy field just as easily from two thousand miles away, as opposed to two feet away. There are many ways in which a Remote Healing can be done, but we have found that many people enjoy having it be as close to an in person session as possible, in its format. So often times, you will receive a call at an agreed upon time, talk a bit about your intentions, and then you just need to have a quiet place to lie down, just as if you were in the office lying on the massage table. The healer will tune in and work in your energetic body and then call you when finished to discuss what was experienced. Many people are surprised when they find they can feel and sense things being done to their energetic body from across the miles!

What if I don’t believe in any of this?  Can it still work?

We work with both the conscious and unconscious parts of your energy body. Your beliefs are contained in only one level of your energy field. Therefore, if you have had positive experiences with energy work or spiritual consulting, you may have what is called a higher faith factor, and this can help support the work. However, we have worked with many people who have been very open to this on a conscious level, but when we tune into their field they are very closed and defended. On the other hand, we have worked with many people who say they do not believe in any of this but are very desperate to find relief for whatever they are experiencing, and when we tune into their field they are very open and receptive to the work on the subconcious level. So your conscious belief in this work is only one factor in many that play a part in how you may respond.

Is this a religious thing?

KIA Reiki™ is not associated with any particular religion, however, your personal spiritual beliefs will play a part in your healing sessions. We work with all of the levels of your personal energy field, from the physical right up through the spiritual level. The spiritual level is your personal connection to Spirit, Universal Life Force, Chi, Prana, Zero Point Energy, God, or whatever you choose to call it. This realm of energy can have many names. We do our best to work within the context of your belief system to help bring about the desired effects that you are looking for.

How many sessions will I need and how often should I receive a session?

This is determined on a very individual basis, however, in general it is recommend that if you are seeking to transform something fairly acute and specific (for either physical or emotional reasons), to start off with a session once a week or every other week for 10-12 sessions. If you are seeking transformation around something that is not urgent, then coming in once every 3-4 weeks may be just enough to support your healing process. We have many people who, once they have moved out of crisis, enjoy coming in once a month for energy balancing and spiritual guidance on a regular basis. We will work with you, and offer the Guidance we receive, regarding the pace which would work best in supporting your healing process.

What kind of training does a KIA Reiki™ Master receive?

It takes several years of training to become a KIA Reiki™ Master, due to the transformation that occurs in the personal energy field and level of Being. It is definitely not anything can be attained in a weekend workshop. There is a foundational body of Knowledge that needs to be integrated, so that changes occur harmoniously between the body, mind and spirit. There is a level of clarity and trust that develops with one’s Intuition. A healthy Will comes into being through repeatedly taking Action on one’s Intuition and Intentions. To radiate an energy of Core Essence that is strong enough to invite others into synchronicity with it, takes years of practice and cannot be rushed.

Training also includes learning about the anatomy of the human energy field, understanding and experiencing different states of consciousness, transforming barriers to intimacy, learning about the importance of and practicing self care, understanding the psycho-spiritual aspects of health, honoring the role of illness in people’s lives, and learning how to work with Spiritual Intent.

Do you take insurance?

Unfortunately at this time, there are very few health insurance plans that cover Energy Healing or Reiki. You will have to check with your insurance company. In an attempt to make payments easier, along with cash we do accept personal checks, traveler’s checks, MasterCard, Visa and Paypal.

Would you do a private session in my home or the hospital?

If you are homebound or in the hospital and would like an in person session, we can talk with you about the possibility of that occurring. We would take into consideration travel time and distance, as well as the hourly rate. This is usually an ideal situation, however, to consider a remote session.
