Jennifer was feeling overwhelmed and “out of control emotionally”. She was in her mid 30s, the mother of a 5 year old, and not very happy in her marriage.

She had been to traditional counselors, as well as a psychiatrist and was now taking medication for anxiety, depression and a sleep support. She was still having uncontrollably waves of crying, however, making her less and less functional during the day.

She was desperate to try anything, and I have found that that’s when people are most receptive to this work. She had never been to an energy worker or spiritual counselor before and was quite nervous when she first came in.

As we sat and talked, however, she was able to settle into herself more and more, allowing herself to actually feel what was going on deep within, and acknowledging it in a safe and secure space with me.

She was astonished at how open she was now feeling, as opposed to her usually guarded way of being. She experienced it as “the room feeling different.”

I said that it was partly due to the safe energy field that I was able to create, and partly due to how she was able to respond to it, as well as now sense that difference.

I asked her if she would be comfortable receiving some energy work, and she agreed to try it.

As she laid down on the massage table and I began channeling the KIA Reiki frequency more intently into her, she was able to sense the energy moving through her body, bringing more and more calm and comfort.

When it was over she found it hard to explain her experience, which is very common. She agreed to do a “cycle” of work together and left feeling very hopeful about herself and her life situation.

When I saw her the next week she very excited and even a bit “bubbly”. She was amazed that after that first session the previous week she no longer felt she needed one of the medications that she had been taking regularly.

I again reminded her to work in conjunction with her doctor to reduce any medications, but that I was very pleased she was feeling so much better.

She was also quite astonished at how she suddenly felt more in love with her husband, and yet couldn’t explain why. He was the same, but she felt totally different towards him!

Each week, for the next 3 months, she looked forward to coming in and reframing her old perspectives that she was a victim to her life, learning new energy tools that supported her in managing her emotions, and developing relationships with the various parts of her inner self.

She came to know her Inner Child, her Warrior, and her Inner Critic.

She also came to know that healing came with befriending and loving all of these parts of herself.

Months later a physical condition arose in her and she needed to go through medical tests. She found herself calm and able to handle the situation gracefully. Something she felt she never could have done before she started developing a greater understanding of her defenses and gifts, as well as connecting to her heart and Core Essence.

A few years ago, Abby, a 43 year old, self employed woman, volunteered for a Chakra Reading that was being offered as part of a lecture I was giving.

I found that one whole side of her energy field was caved in and that there was a very strong, negative presence actually blocking any new, supportive energies from entering her field.

When I shared this with her she said that she had just gone through a very painful divorce and that her previous husband was still very angry and controlling with her, and she felt powerless in this situation.

I told her that there were some supportive tools available if she wanted to explore resolving this situation from an energy healing perspective.

A few months later she was in touch with me and we set up a private session. She had never done anything like this, so she was a bit apprehensive when she came in.

As she lay on the table, trying to receive energy, I was able to call in and have a psychic dialogue with her husband, whose energy was distorting her field (and her life).

We were able to acknowledge the loss for both him and his former wife. We were also able to reconnect their heart cords in a healthy way so that the love they shared on a deeper soul level could be maintained, while they let go of the anger and hurt that was on the personality level of their energy fields.

So much healing and transformation occurred in just that one session that it intrigued her enough to continue with the process.

She came back the next week for more energy work and spiritual counseling. The following week she admitted that even with her former husband’s energy no longer blocking things, that she still quite unhappy and that every day was simply a process of trying to get to the end of the day.

This became the Intention that we worked with in the following weeks, that she could authentically enjoy her life. Within a month she was physically exercising, taking time to herself to read and explore energy exercises, and no longer waiting for her day to be done! She had begun enjoying life.

Mia was woman in her thirties, with two children, one grown and out of the house, the other finishing high school.

When she came to me, she was struggling with the relationships in her life. There was often stress and painful situations in dealing with those closest to her. She was very dedicated to her personal process and the possibility of change in her life, so she requested 12 sessions over a six month period.

Through a combination of spiritual counseling; daily practices and healing sessions she began to regain her balance.

I supported her through grounding and breathing exercises to help her focus and feel where her stress was coming from. We also addressed emotionally charged issues of the past and present – exploring areas of guilt, shame and poor self esteem. I supported her with hands-on energy work to assist her in reclaiming balance, boundaries and self-esteem.

Through all of this she felt a growing sense of empowerment, and greater ease in dealing with relationships. She was able to remain true to herself, while compassionately relating to others in all areas of her life.

She said she felt less fear, resentment and stress in her life, and better prepared to handle herself when difficult situations came up. She felt so inspired by all of this that she began learning healing techniques for self use so she could continue the process.

Now that she feels better about herself and her life, she is taking on her smoking addiction. Way to go Mia!
